A Personal Information Inventory is a great way to remind your loved ones about your financial wishes and how you have set up your plan to help them in the event of your death.
Remember, this inventory contains sensitive information and should be stored in a safe and secure spot, never online and you should avoid making copies to keep your information as safe as possible. Only a close friend, relative and your financial planner should know how to gain access to it. When you share this information with your trusted contact, also let them know what you expect of them.
Remembering to periodically read over the document to ensure the information is accurate is also very important.
